All types of Christmas films are welcomed, from faith based features to slasher Santas. Have another holiday based film such as Hanukkah or Easter? Submit it in our holiday category!
Selected films will be publicly available on our festival website between December 25th 2024 and January 31st 2025. Award winners will be screened in-person in New York City on December 15th and 22nd. Selected films will also be discussed on our partner podcast, Will and Ava's Christmas Movie Marathon, a three-year running podcast focused on discussing Christmas B-Movies. We highly recommend familiarizing yourself with the podcast before submitting.

Q&A
Q: My film has Christmas elements, but isn't explicitly a Christmas movie. Should I submit?
A: Everyone has a different definition of a true Christmas movie, haven't you heard the debate about Die Hard? So long as Christmas is featured in your film in a meaningful way, you are encouraged to submit!
Q: My film was selected! How should it be made available on the website?
A: If accepted, please provide the festival with a private or public Vimeo or Youtube link. The film will be available and promoted on our website throughout the duration of the showcase.
Q: Can I submit a short film?
A: Absolutely! Although we are focused on features, short films are happily accepted. Please submit in the appropriate category on FilmFreeway.
Q: Do you offer a student waiver?
A: Please contact the festival directly for all waiver inquiries.
